Since ancient times, wine has been considered a drink enjoyed by everyone from ordinary people to the Gods. Almost every ancient culture had a dedicated God of Wine – be it Gestin (Sumerian Empire), Paget, Siduri (Babylonian Empire), Ernuntet (Egypt), Dionysus (Greece) or Bacchus (Roman Empire). The problem of storing wine and keeping it fresh arose sooner rather than later.
We now use the healing powers of stones to keep the wine fresh and maintaining its excellent properties for extended periods of time. By being constantly stored near gems, the drink not only loses its harmful properties, but also grows noble through aging. There are several stones which we recommend to be used for this process, among which we mention: Iolite, Chrysophrase, Yellow Jasper and Carnelian.
