LABRADORITE

Valuable stones come from all around the world, without discrimination. This time around, we’re looking at a material which comes straight from Inuit legends. Labradorite is said to have its origins in one of Earth’s most spectacular shows: the Aurora Borealis. While it is tough to decipher which part of its origins is true and which is a legend, one thing is clear for everyone: the stone features some truly unique qualities.

Labradorite, simply put, is a Stone of Magic, used by shamans and magicians for thousands of years. It’s actually composed of several aggregate layers which refract visible light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, or coppery red, producing remarkable works of color. Design-wise, it looks fabulous – but its astonishing properties don’t stop here.

The stone calms hyperactive minds and stimulates the imagination. It also balances the two hemispheres of the brain and encourages cooperation and balance. Furthermore, it harmoniously integrates intellectual and intuitive thinking. Physically, it’s also great for the lungs and any kind of respiratory issues. These are all qualities which are welcomed in any space.
